About Fleur Leparquier
Fleur is a mother, entrepreneur, and socio-environmental consultant. In 2011, she discovered Analog Forestry through an agronomy internship in an Analog Forest in Sri Lanka, where the Guayapi company is dedicated to restoring the original ecosystem and processing fruits from its garden. This was her awakening, and she decided to focus all her practices in her international agro-development engineering career on studying the use of non-timber forest products, environmental conservation, territorial planning, and the socio-anthropological approach to the use of these natural and forest resources. She completed her university studies with another master’s degree in Ethnoecology to deeply explore the magic she feels when observing the link between people and their environment and the natural resources that surround them. She has been fortunate to contribute to various territorial planning and conservation projects as a consultant or research assistant. Later, upon becoming a single mother, she drew inspiration from the wisdom of women interviewed during her work missions and decided to establish herself in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, in Mallorca, Spain, to create a life on her own terms and offer the upbringing she dreamed of for her son. Today, she runs a micro-project she created in 2019 for Roasting Coffee from Sustainable Forests and Producing Delicacies with resources from local agroforests. She also offers courses, talks, and workshops on topics she is passionate about, and now on Analog Forestry, design methods, and project implementation.
