About Marianne
Trilingual in French, English, and Spanish, Marianne Tremblay is a project coordinator with extensive experience in international cooperation and environmental initiatives across Canada, Latin America, and West Africa.
For over a decade, Marianne has dedicated herself to sustainable development projects. Her journey began in 2014 with solidarity projects in Guatemala and Cuba, where she worked alongside the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) and witnessed firsthand the resilience and creativity of rural communities.
After completing her Certificate in International Cooperation from the University of Montreal—culminating in a three-month urban agriculture project in Chile—Marianne further specialized with a diploma in Community Development and Intercultural Relations.
Her environmental commitment expanded through work with Équiterre, raising awareness about climate change. At Mer et Monde, she managed significant projects in Senegal focused on energy transition, collaborating with GREEN Senegal and Ecosolaris. These experiences deepened her understanding of
sustainable agricultural practices and the importance of community-led environmental initiatives.
Marianne continues to enhance her expertise through the Microprogramme in International Project Management at Laval University while applying her growing knowledge to diverse environmental initiatives.
