About Tatiana Espinosa
Tatiana Espinosa Quiñones is a Forestry Sciences Engineer (UNALM) with a Master’s degree in Management and Conservation of Tropical Forests and Biodiversity from CATIE (Costa Rica). She is the founder and executive director of the organization ARBIO-PERU, which manages 1,000 hectares of Amazon rainforest with a conservation model that involves civil society and the private sector. She has extensive experience in forest management in the Peruvian Amazon, research on ancient trees, and social adaptation processes to climate change. ARBIO is developing an Analog Forestry pilot site in Madre de Dios to demonstrate and disseminate the methodology.
